Have you figured out the second head fake?

Randy Pausch was a Professor of Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction and Design at the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.  Furthermore he was a son, brother, husband, father and to top it all off a best-selling author.  He received word wide fame for his speech, The Last Lecture.  This was indeed his last, as he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had only three to six months left to live.

During his speech he asked the people in the auditorium, “Did you figure out the head fake”?  He explained that it is not about how one achieves your dreams; the head fake is how you lead your life.  Pausch was a strong believer in karma.  He believed that if you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself.  Your dreams will come to you.

He also asked if the audience figured out the second head fake.  He indicated that this was not a speech for the audience, but for his kids.  This was a very personal matter.  He wanted his kids to know who he was.

I found the recording of this video on YouTube and will definitely be buying the CD.  I feel this man had a wealth of good advice one needs to follow.  This way each of us can figure out our own second head fake.
