If I can’t choose the precise 15 minutes I want to be famous, I would prefer to be caught in a moment where I am compassionate. Why compassionate you might ask? Compassion is the art of the emotional capacities of empathy and sympathy. It can also be regarded as a strong part of love. It is said that compassion is the foundation to the highest principles in philosophy, society and “personhood”.
If I have the privilege of being famous for 15 minutes, I would like people to see what it looks like when you put someone else’s needs before your own. Hopefully I will be able to teach a few people in the wonderful world we are living in, what it really means.
Our earth revolve around ourselves, so much so, that we forgot what really matters. We need to look after each other and genuinely care.
My 15 minutes of fame? A lesson to the rest of humanity …
