What motivates me?

Psychology Today identifies “Motivation” as literally the desire to do things and it's the crucial element in setting and attaining goals.

There are also seven rules of motivation.  These rules are:
1.     Set a major goal, but follow a path.
2.     Finish what you start.
3.     Socialize with others of similar interest.
4.     Learn how to learn.
5.     Harmonize natural talent with interests that motivates.
6.     Increase knowledge of subjects that inspires.
7.     Take risk.

I am motivated by success, recognition, reward, results and a sense of fulfillment.  All these play a vital role in my life and decision-making.  I believe that a person needs these motivations to grow, both personally and professionally.  Motivation is what we need to become someone great – a cause, a reason or something we believe in.

Motivation is key in the person we are.  Don’t wait for motivation to seek you, seek motivation.
